Reflexive Pronouns (الضمائر الانعكاسية)
Used when the subject and object of a verb are the same person/thing, or to add emphasis.
myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves
- Action: "He taught himself to play the guitar."
- Emphasis: "I will fix the computer myself."
- With Prepositions: "She spoke to herself quietly."
Common Errors
❌ Don't use reflexives with verbs that don't take an object:
*"He enjoyed himself" ✔ vs. "He enjoyed" ✘.*
