1️⃣ Form (الماضي البسيط)

• Regular verbs: add -ed → work → worked
• If ends in -e: +d → live → lived
• If consonant + y: → ied → study → studied
• If CVC: double consonant → stop → stopped
• Irregular verbs: memorize → go → went, eat → ate

Uses

• Completed past actions → *She visited Paris in 2020.*
• Series of past actions → *He woke up and left.*
• Past habits → *They always walked to school.*
