Articles: a/an, the, Ø (no article) (أدوات النكرة والمعرفة)
Small words that specify if a noun is general or specific.
- a/an (Indefinite): General or first-time mentions. "I saw a dog." (any dog) / "She is an engineer."
- the (Definite): Specific, unique, or known nouns. "The dog I saw was brown." / "The sun is hot."
- Ø (No Article): General uncountable or most proper nouns. "I like (Ø) coffee." / "We visited (Ø) France."
'Used to' (كان يفعل / اعتاد أن)
Describes a past habit or state that is no longer true.
- Affirmative (+): "I used to play tennis every day." (I don't play anymore).
- Negative (-): "I didn't use to like vegetables." (But now I do).
- Question (?): "Did you use to live here?"
