Unit 6: Reading Skill: Interpreting Cultural Elements
Cultural elements are the values, customs, and behaviors that define a group of people. In the exam, you are often asked to identify these to understand the author's message.

Visible elements like
Food, Festivals, Traditional Dress (Caftan/Djellaba),

Step 1: Identify Clues (تحديد الأدلة)
Spot proper nouns (places), specific traditions, or social behaviors mentioned in the text.
Step 3: Evaluate Influence (تقييم التأثير)
Determine how these elements shape the character's identity or resolve the conflict in the story.
