1. Modal Verbs: Can, Could, Should
Modal verbs are special verbs we use with other verbs. (الأفعال الناقصة) Can and Could are used for ability or polite requests. Ability: "I can lift this heavy bag." (أستطيع رفع هذه الحقيبة الثقيلة.) Polite Request: "Could you please help me find a size?" (هل يمكنك مساعدتي في إيجاد مقاس؟) Should is used to give advice. Advice: "You should save money for a new jacket." (يجب أن توفر المال لشراء سترة جديدة.)
2. Prepositions of Place
These small words tell us where something is.

| Preposition | Use | Example |
|---|---|---|
| at | For a specific place. (لمكان محدد) | The store is at the end of the street. (المتجر في نهاية الشارع.) |
| in | For a general place or inside a place. (لمكان عام أو داخل مكان) | The keys are in my bag. (المفاتيح في حقيبتي.) |
| on | For a surface or a street. (لسطح أو شارع) | The book is on the shelf. (الكتاب على الرف.) |
| behind | At the back of something. (خلف شيء) | The shoes are behind the door. (الأحذية خلف الباب.) |
| next to | Beside something. (بجانب شيء) | The store is next to the bank. (المتجر بجوار البنك.) |
