Use: An action that will be completed before a specific time or another event in the future.

Form: will have + Past Participle (V3)

Timeline: An action (x) will be finished before another point (y) in the future.

Past ----- NOW ---x--y-- Future

Examples:

By 2030, scientists will have found a cure for the disease.
She will have finished the project by the time the boss returns.
