Use: The process of turning a verb or an adjective into a noun. This is very common in formal, academic, and scientific writing to make the text sound more abstract and objective.

Suffixes are often added to the verb or adjective. Common suffixes include -tion, -sion, -ment, -ance, -ence, -ity, -ness .
