Grammar: Pronouns & Determiners
These words replace nouns (pronouns) or specify them (determiners/adjectives).
1. Subject / Object Pronouns

1. Subject / Object Pronouns
Use: Replace nouns to avoid repetition. Subject pronouns perform the action; Object pronouns receive the action. "She called me. I need to talk to her."

2. Possessive Adjectives
Use: Show possession. They must come before a noun (e.g., my, your, his, her, its, our, their). "This is my book. The students left their bags here."

3. Demonstratives (This/That/These/Those)
Use: Point to specific people or things, depending on number (singular/plural) and distance (near/far). This apple is delicious. (Singular, near) That house on the hill is old. (Singular, far) These shoes are uncomfortable. (Plural, near) Those birds are flying south. (Plural, far)
